Change is Sometimes Good
As you can see, I haven’t posted in a little while.
I’ve had to make a major life decision.
Have you ever thought that you knew what course your life was taking only to find out differently?
It’s interesting sometimes how life challenges us………to do things differently.
Why is it sometimes that us humans hold on tightly to things even when they are not working? We try to keep the doors open that are closing and we’re trying that so hard that we miss the new doors that are opening for us. Doors that hold new possibilities, new opportunities or new places.
When we are trying so hard to keep those other doors open, we miss the new things that can come into our lives. It can be interesting how life will present it sometimes. I am learning that it doesn’t always come the way I had envisioned or on my time line. When I give in and go with the flow of life, my life, it’s incredible how things come into play and work well synergistically instead of a struggle.
For us, right now, that has been a decision to move 1/2 way across the country. At first I bawked at the idea, ‘Go back to where I came from? I don’t think so, I love it out here!!’ was all that I could say. But the more we thought about it, talked about it, it became clear that it made sense. What is interesting though, is how things are lining up to make it easier, to make it feel even better, to know that we are on the right path…….you just know, things flow!
At the end of this week, we will say good bye for now to beautiful Vancouver Island, where there is the ocean, the mountains, Eagles, Old Growth forest and an over all laid back feeling. We also live in the Retirment Capital of Canada and that part is the truth!!!
We are heading off to Ontario.
Why you ask?
Financially and Family.
We live on an Island, things can be limited, but more importantly, family.
At my age, I still have 3 grandparents living…….now how cool is that??!!
After losing someone close to me, at a fairly young age to cancer, I realized that you never know what tomorrow may bring.
What that means to me is living without regrets, being true to myself and having family close by to further enrich my life.
It’s time to go home.
Change can be good when we allow ourselves to go with the flow of life!!!
Why Women Rock
in Direct Sales or Network Marketing………
It is because of the connections!!
I had been invited to a ‘Spa Party’ by a friend, so the other night I went.
I went mostly to support her, but also because I really didn’t know the company or products. I wasn’t sure about my intention on buying anything, but am open to looking at or trying new products.
The group was small, only about five of us, a little bit of chit chat was happening as we watched and listened to the demo while trying the products on ourselves.
Then the finale, we were asked if we were interested in the products or business. But then the conversation switched over to be more personal, just some common everyday things about ourselves or what we were doing. That is when I really got it……..as the wall went down,and by that I mean, I could tell it was a more relaxed atmosphere and connections were being made on a more personal level as we were talking about ourselves.
Women love and need the connections. We really are wired differently than men. I realized at that moment that women probably join companies based on the connections, also for the products, as you do have to like the product but, can passion for the product come after making some great connections with other women?

4 - The Time………….after it is gone.

Do you keep doing things the same way yet expecting different results or that things will change?
Who are you spending your time with? People that uplift and encourage you and your dreams or energy suckers?
You do have choice.
Law of the Garbage Truck
Now this is a good one, I can’t take the credit for this at all, but I thought I should at least share. What a great story!!
One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport. We were
driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a
parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his
brakes, skidded, and missed the other car by just inches! The driver
of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us.
My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean, he was
really friendly. So I asked, ‘Why did you just do that? This guy
almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!’ This is when my
taxi driver taught me what I now call, ‘The Law of the Garbage Truck.’
He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run around
full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of
disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump
it and sometimes they’ll dump it on you. Don’t take it personally.
Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. Don’t take their
garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home, or on the
streets.
The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage
trucks take over their day. Life’s too short to wake up in the morning
with regrets, so..Love the people who treat you right. Pray for the
ones who don’t. Life is ten percent what you make it and ninety
percent how you take it!

To Encourage Success…..
Success, at anything, is a process, it just doesn’t happen overnight.
Last night I was watching an interview with Micheal Phelps, and it may seem like overnight success for him, but he’s been training since he was 11 years old (he’s 23 yrs now). For the last 5 years, he did not miss one day of training, not even Christmas, and on his birthday he did two trainings!!!
Now that is dedication, focus and determination. Not only has he won a gold medal at the olympics, he has won 14 in total and he’s going back for more!!
Here are some idea to encourage more success, love what you do, in other words be enthusiastic about it or have a passion for it.
Give yourself time. We usually underesitmate what we can do in 2 - 5 years, but over estimate what we can do in the next six months. It takes time to get good at what you are trying to do, whether that is a business or learning a new hobby or sport or anything else. Daily consistent action, or practice, practice practice!!!
Set goals, be realistic but also don’t just forget about them. Make a plan of action and keep the focus or end result in your minds eye for what you are aiming for.
If things aren’t going well or working for you, don’t be afraid to step back, look at what it is you are trying to learn or accomplish and try something different that may bring different or better results. Be real about it, if something is not working, admit it. Also, acknowledge what is working or working well.
Don’t be hard on yourself, sometimes things do take time to master or learn. If you love what you are doing and have a passion for it, then it should be easy to keep going till it gets easier or you see the results of sometimes hard work. Then you’ll know it was well worth it!

Does the Law of Attraction really work??
Well, just look around at your life and that will give you the answer.
By that I mean, if you know what you really want, then you are living it. And if you really don’t know what you want, you are living it too. In other words, your outer world is a reflection of your inner world.
The ‘Law of Attraction‘ is always at work. You mostly hear about it in terms of how it will help you attract money or abundance in general. But, the ‘Law of Attraction’ dictates that you will receive back exactly what you are FEELING……no matter what you are feeling!!!
Where is your attention? Is it on the feelings associated with the problem or is it with the feelings of no longer having the problems? If one approaches issues with how frustrating this ‘problem’ is, the Universal Law dictates that you will simply attract MORE of those feelings which will attract MORE of those ‘problems’!! It isn’t that the Universe is out to get you, it’s that the ‘Law of Attraction’ is always turned on and depending on how you are feeling is what is being attracted.
Instead, if you can choose feelings on HOW life can be, see it BUT more importantly FEEL it before it shows up, then it will. As I said before the ‘Law of Attraction’ is always turned on. That’s why knowing what you want, seeing it and believing it can and will happen will make it happen.
Now, it may not always be on your time schedule, but never give up!!
You may think this is hippy dippy stuff, but we must remember, that beyond our flesh and bones we are, at a molecular level, ENERGY and everything is ENERGY.
We were not meant to struggle, work hard for years, have bad health or have to ‘try’ and figure things out. Our job is to feel good and do what we love to do.
So, go get clear and start attracting!!

Can Quitter’s Win??
I was reading Randy Gage’s Blog yesterday and today on quitting and knowing when to quit and it parallels things in my life right now.
When do you really know when to quit in something in your own life? You don’t always, and sometimes, many of us quit too soon. Sometimes, some of us hang on too long, way too long. For me, I’m being tested on a number of things right now. Through trial and error, I am learning. What I am learning though has been great, even if it’s been the hard way, as I am learning more about myself, who I really am and what I really want in my life. What I will not settle for anymore and in what direction I really want to go in my life.
Now, that doesn’t mean that everything will be roses, but what I am seeing is that it starts to click and line up much easier. I have started to flow with the current in my life instead of trying to fight it, which makes things much easier.
For example, recently in business, my friend and I were doing the exact same things, (well as much as possible) she was getting great results, I on the other hand was going no where. I decided to take the time, step back, re-evaluate how I was doing things and what I could do better or different. I also got really honest with myself and asked if I really liked what I was doing or if I was even passionate about the company or service………..that is what made the difference…….I wasn’t. I pictured myself letting it go and I was fine with it, actually it felt like relief and that’s when I knew I was trying to go up stream instead of flowing with the current. Just because it works or is good for someone else, doesn’t mean it has to for you.
So, be honest with yourself, don’t just quit because it is hard, quit because it really isn’t in alignment with who you really are.
Winners never quit, they just keep searching until they find what it is that is really better suited for them, so get to know yourself well and it will be much easier!!!!

I love this story!!!
I walk down the street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I fall in. I am lost. I am helpless. It isn’t my fault. It takes forever to find a way out.
I walk down the street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I pretend that I don’t see it. I fall in again. I can’t believe I am in the same place, but it isn’t my fault. It still takes a long time to get out!!.
